Breath Medical Equipment & Apparatuses is hiring a Business Development Executive to open new markets and build long-term commercial partnerships. While our sales team closes day-to-day deals, your job is to create the opportunities behind them — new accounts, new segments, new distribution and supplier relationships.
You will identify hospital groups, clinic chains, home-care providers, and institutional buyers; get us onto their approved-vendor lists; and turn first meetings into framework agreements. It suits someone strategic and persistent who enjoys the long game as much as the quick win.
Responsibilities
- Map the UAE healthcare market and identify high-potential accounts and segments
- Initiate and lead vendor registrations with hospital groups, government entities, and purchasing organizations
- Develop partnerships with manufacturers, distributors, and complementary suppliers
- Negotiate framework agreements, pricing structures, and supply contracts
- Represent Breath Medical at exhibitions, conferences, and industry events
- Hand over qualified accounts to the sales team with clear context and next steps
- Report pipeline, conversion, and market insights to management monthly
Must have
- 3+ years in business development, key accounts, or commercial roles — healthcare, medical devices, or pharma preferred
- Track record of opening new accounts or markets, not just servicing existing ones
- Strong negotiation and proposal-writing skills
- Fluent English; polished, professional communication
- UAE market experience and a valid UAE driving license
Nice to have
- Arabic language skills
- Relationships with hospital procurement or government health entities
- Experience with vendor prequalification and approved-supplier processes
- Understanding of medical device regulations in the UAE
- Exposure to distribution or agency agreements
What's great about this job
- You shape where the company grows next — real influence on strategy
- Performance incentives tied to the accounts and agreements you land
- Direct access to management; short decision cycles
- A credible, certified product portfolio that procurement teams take seriously
